In 2008 the Indian Premier League (IPL) was established also known as Indian professional Twenty20 (T20) cricket league. IPL has teams based in the major cities of India. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) associate Lalit Modi founded the IPL in 2007. it is coming over April and May of every year. The title of IPL is sponsored by Vivo Electronics, that’s why its official name is Vivo Indian Premier League.
In today IPL is the most appear cricket in all over world and in between all sports it carries sixth ranks. As per brand value estimated US$3.2 billion in 2014 and the IPL session contributed US$182 million of Indian economy.
Of the total teams five teams have won the title trophy at least once, but in between five winner team Chennai Super kings, Mumbai Indians and Kolkota Knight Riders have own twice although Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers have won once. Eight teams will plays in ythis season, where top best four teams qualify for the semifinals. At last two teams qalify for the final. According to BCCI the eight teams is,
